Born in the small coastal town of Timaru, New Zealand in 1986, Alecia’s family travelled to Australia for a holiday, but chose to stay in Australia to live. At the age of 10, Alecia was given her first camera by a family friend and from there her passion for photography developed.

This passion rapidly increased through her teen years, when she acquired her first digital camera. Since then, Alecia has taken thousands upon thousands of images, around South East Queensland, and also New Zealand. She has also completed a two-year Diploma of Photography.
